Hello!

It's been a while!

Honestly, I’ve been trying to find the spark for writing while balancing life. The job market is tough, and the journey has been challenging, but I’m excited to use this blog as an outlet. For the blog’s health, I’ll structure posts so they don’t have to be time-based. The logical approach is to write as much as I can when the spark hits and I have something meaningful to share, rather than pushing myself to meet some arbitrary quota.

Now, this ad is fun. It’s cheeky and just meta enough to still be entertaining. We all know these food commercials are designed to interrupt our experience and deliver a message—Uber Eats, Papa John’s, the list goes on. They all feature dismal scenes of wimpy food trays that effectively ruin Sunday football. And it works! For many, big sporting events just aren’t the same without wings or pizza. However, the rising food prices and exorbitant delivery fees have soured the immediate appeal of delivery services. This ad blurs the line in a comedic way that I think was done exceptionally well. Next time I order something on Uber Eats, I’ll think of those philosophical cheeseheads!

Until next time. Thank you for reading and take care!
