Hello everyone!


For July, I’m highlighting another comedic ad. CeraVe is a very popular brand that sells a variety of skin and beauty products like moisturizing cream. For the superbowl, they dropped a successful ad campaign with Micheal Cera.  The superbowl ad reached a whopping 9 million impressions on various social platforms. This commercial released shortly after that ad.


“Continuing our Super Bowl momentum, I think it's pretty clear that we're not afraid to have a little fun with our marketing approach and influencer partners," said Adam Kornblum, Global Head of Digital Marketing at CeraVe. "By combining people's love of cinema and reality dating show fascination, we were able to tap into a culturally relevant conversation while doubling down on the importance of making daily sunscreen a skincare habit for all."


This commercial has been recirculating and I expect another successful campaign from CeraVe. The current landscape of commercials is filled with athletes and famous actors. This formula is very well known. I think that the more we see commercials and campaigns accurately compose funny commercials with notable people, the more we will have memorable commercials.


As a small side note, I wanted to speak on the future of my posts and this blog. I will be uploading whenever I can and get the spark to. I’m glad I have a space like this to let my thoughts out into the universe without a deadline attached. I hope to become more active on this site if life permits it.
